Fine dining, wherever you’re hosting in Las Vegas.

Private Chef Las Vegas

CHEFIN is a private chef service connecting you with vetted chefs across Las Vegas and Henderson. Your chef plans the menu, sources premium ingredients, cooks on-site and cleans up before leaving. That can be a house in Summerlin, a suite on the Strip, a place out in Henderson, or a rental for a group who flew in for the weekend. You pick the dining style — a bachelorette dinner, a poolside spread in the desert heat, or a quiet meal that beats fighting for a restaurant table on a Saturday night. We match you with the chef whose cooking suits your menu, your dietary needs and the occasion, then you and your chef shape it together. A concierge stays with it from the first message to the last plate cleared.

Cocktail and canapé packages start from $65 a head, three-course fine dining from $195, tax included. A private chef for one evening or a personal chef on a regular basis: either way, it starts with the same call. Finding a good chef in Las Vegas is the easy part. What sits behind them is the rest of it.

Amazing. Great food. Chat. Relax & have fun. No stress!

what customers say

How much does a private chef cost in Las Vegas?

You pay per person, and the cost to hire depends on the dining style and how many are coming. Cocktail and canapé packages start from $65 a head, family-style share plates at $165, three-course plated fine dining at $195, and five-course at $245. All inclusive of tax, with nothing added at checkout. There is no call-out fee, no ingredient surcharge and no cleaning charge either. The number you are quoted covers the chef, the premium ingredients, the cooking, the service, and the kitchen left the way they found it.

Each package page shows its current rate. For an exact figure on your date and number of guests, ask the concierge. Prices can shift over convention weeks, holidays and for last-minute booking.

What every package includes:

  • A vetted private chef, matched to your menu and dietary needs
  • Menu planning and revisions with your chef, tailored to your food preferences
  • Premium ingredients, sourced and shopped for by your chef
  • Cooking on site right in your kitchen, arriving ahead of service
  • Full kitchen and dining area cleanup
  • Concierge support from booking through to the evening
  • All taxes: the displayed rate is the final rate
Public liability coverage, background checks on every chef, and payment held in trust until after your event

What sits outside the per-person price:

  • Wait staff and bar staff: available as an add-on
  • Drinks, tableware, glassware and cutlery: can be arranged as add-ons

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I hire a private chef in Las Vegas?

Through CHEFIN. Tell the concierge your date, where you are staying, how many are coming and what the evening is for, and we come back with chefs who are free and whose cooking suits it. Every chef has passed background checks and a tasting before you see them, so you are choosing between good options rather than gambling on a stranger from a Facebook group.

Will a private chef cook at my Airbnb or rental?

Yes, and it is one of the most common bookings we take in Las Vegas. Your chef cooks on site in the rental kitchen, works with the equipment that is there, and cleans up before leaving. Check with your host that the kitchen can be used, give the concierge the address and the number of guests, and your chef plans the menu around the space.

What is the difference between a private chef and a personal chef?

A private chef is booked for one occasion and cooks and serves on the day. A personal chef visits regularly to prepare meals for a household through the week. CHEFIN provides both in Las Vegas. A third arrangement, employing a full-time chef on salary, is a different service again. Tell the concierge which you are after.

Is there a maximum number of guests for a private chef in Las Vegas?

There is no hard limit, but the format changes with the numbers. Up to about fifteen guests suits a seated, plated dinner with one chef. Beyond that we usually suggest family-style share plates or canapés, which cater to a bigger room better, and add a second chef or wait staff. Give the concierge the guest count and we will recommend the format that actually works for the room.

How much should I tip a private chef in Las Vegas?

Gratuity is at your discretion and is not built into the CHEFIN rate. If you want a benchmark, guests who tip usually land between 10 and 20 percent, in line with restaurant practice in Las Vegas. Nothing is added automatically and there is no service charge on the invoice.

Do private chefs clean up after cooking?

Yes. Every CHEFIN booking in Las Vegas includes full cleanup of the kitchen and dining area, and your chef leaves the space as they found it. That matters more than usual in a short-term rental you would rather get the deposit back on.

Are the ingredients fresh, and who does the grocery shopping?

Your chef does the shopping and brings premium ingredients bought fresh for your menu, choosing seasonal produce and quality proteins rather than whatever is cheapest. Ingredient cost is included in the per-person price rather than billed afterwards.

Can a private chef in Las Vegas accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes. Dietary needs are collected at booking and the menu is built around them: gluten-free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan, keto, halal, kosher-style and any specific allergy. With a group there is almost always at least one, so send them all through at once and your chef designs a single menu that works for the whole table.

How far in advance should I book a private chef in Las Vegas?

Two to three weeks is comfortable for most dates. Convention weeks, fight nights, New Year and big race weekends go earlier, and so do spring bachelorette dates. Last-minute booking is often possible, but the chef selection is narrower.

A private chef for your Las Vegas rental

This is the booking Las Vegas gets more than anywhere else. A rented house or Airbnb off the Strip, ten to fifteen people in from out of town, a weekend already full of things to organise, and one night where nobody wants to queue for a table or split a four-figure restaurant bill fifteen ways.

A chef arrives at the rental. You choose the format: canapés and cocktails while people are getting ready, a long shared table, or a proper multi-course dinner before you head out. For a group of 10 people or more it usually works out cheaper per head than a comparable restaurant, before anyone orders a drink. Your chef works with the kitchen that is there, brings the premium ingredients, cooks, serves and cleans up. Nobody is on dish duty and nobody is chasing a reservation for a group that size.

Two things worth knowing. Give the concierge the rental address and the number of guests when you book, because rental kitchens vary enormously and it changes what your chef plans. And mention any dietary needs in the group in one go — with a party of twelve there is almost always at least one, and it is easier to design around than to work around on the night.

Private dining in Las Vegas, on your terms

Las Vegas has more private dining rooms than almost any city on earth, and most of them come with a minimum spend, a set menu and a table you have to leave by nine. A private chef gives you the same polish without any of that: a menu built for your guests, plated and served, in a space that is yours for the evening.

It suits the gatherings the Strip handles badly. A group of fourteen who want to hear each other. A client dinner where the conversation matters more than the room. A birthday that should not run on somebody else’s clock. It scales both ways too — a private dinner for two in Summerlin, a long shared table for a full house, canapés and a bar before everyone goes out. It is a restaurant-quality dining experience at your own table, in-home and on your schedule.

A private chef for a Las Vegas bachelorette party

A Las Vegas bachelorette party is one booking where a private chef makes obvious sense. You have twelve people in a rented house off the Strip, a group chat that has been going for three months, and one night where getting a table anywhere decent means splitting into two bookings at 9:45pm.

A chef comes to the house instead. Most groups do it on the first night, when everyone has just arrived and nobody wants to organize anything, or as the sit-down dinner before going out. Canapés and cocktails while people are getting ready works well too. Your chef shops for premium ingredients, cooks in the rental kitchen, serves, and cleans up before leaving.

The math usually surprises people. For ten people or more, a private chef often comes in under what the same group would spend at a Strip restaurant once drinks, tax and gratuity are counted, and nobody is dividing a four-figure bill twelve ways at the end of the night.

Three things make it run smoothly. Tell the concierge the rental address when you book, because Airbnb kitchens vary enormously and it changes what your chef can plan. Send every dietary requirement in one go rather than one at a time, since with a group this size there is almost always at least one, and it is easier to design a menu around than to work around on the night. And check with your host that the kitchen can be used for cooking, which most allow but a few do not.

Book earlier than you think. Vegas bachelorette weekends cluster, and the good chefs go first.

Private chef experiences for every occasion in Las Vegas

Las Vegas books a private chef when the group is too big for a good table, or the night is better spent in.

  • Bachelorette and bachelor weekends: a rented house off the Strip and a group that would rather stay put.
  • Milestone birthdays: a birthday dinner for a group that has outgrown a restaurant table.
  • Corporate hosting and convention weeks: client dinners away from the noise, and team evenings that are not another buffet.
  • Anniversaries and proposals: an intimate dinner or tasting menu for two.
  • Family visits and holiday hosting: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year, cooked in your own kitchen.
  • Poolside and patio evenings through spring and fall, when the desert is at its best.
  • Fight nights, race weekends and residencies, when every restaurant in town is booked out.

Cooking in Las Vegas: cuisines, produce and desert seasons

Las Vegas has one of the deepest restaurant-kitchen talent pools in the country, because the resorts recruit from everywhere and not everyone stays behind a hotel line. Our chefs create menus across more than twenty cuisines — steakhouse and modern American, Italian, Japanese and sushi, Mexican, Korean and Thai — and several came out of Strip kitchens before moving to in-home work. That is where the culinary experience comes from: resort-level training, cooking for twelve instead of two hundred.

The supply chain is better than the desert suggests.
Vegas is fed by the same distribution that supplies the resorts, which means access to Pacific seafood, prime and Wagyu beef, and specialty produce that most cities this size never see. Add California produce four hours west, Nevada-grown greens and dates, and honey out of the valley. Our chefs buy from suppliers they have chosen themselves, shopping for fresh, seasonal ingredients close to the day rather than working from a fixed list.

The seasons here are about heat, not cold.
Summer pushes everything indoors and after dark, and menus get lighter for it. Spring and fall are the outdoor months, when a patio or poolside dinner is the best table in the city. Winter is mild and the peak season for entertaining at home, and the search data agrees — January is one of the busiest months of the year.

The kitchens vary more than anywhere.
Las Vegas homes run from Summerlin new builds with islands the size of a dining table, to high-rise condos with galley kitchens, to short-term rentals stocked with whatever the owner left behind. A Ridges kitchen and an Airbnb off Flamingo are two different evenings to cook. Tell your concierge which one you have, and mention the outdoor grill if there is one.
