Bio

Lorna Boyd’s cooking began the way the best cooking often does — at home, feeding the people she loved. As she puts it, cooking chose her, and she simply stayed with it. Over more than fifteen years that early love has grown into a full-service culinary business built on connection, culture and heart.

She founded “Let’s Eat With Kibwe” to bring people together through thoughtfully prepared food and unforgettable dining. Today the brand serves intimate dinners, luxury brunches, bachelorette celebrations, cooking classes, retreats and curated events — making Lorna a natural fit for anyone seeking elevated brunch catering in Nashville, or a private chef for a special gathering.

Her food is elevated comfort at its core — fresh, locally inspired menus spanning American, Caribbean and fully plant-based cooking, so there’s something thoughtful for every table and every diet. Each dish balances flavor, presentation and genuine hospitality, crafted to make guests feel cared for, relaxed and fully present.

Every experience Lorna creates is intentionally designed, from plated multi-course dinners to interactive cooking classes. Attention to detail, professionalism and warmth sit at the core of every service, and her aim is always the same: for guests to feel nourished, celebrated and inspired long after the last bite.

Working as a private chef in Nashville, Lorna brings storytelling, community and elevated comfort food into private homes and venues for gatherings of every kind. Whether it’s a refined dinner or a lively celebration, she serves food with heart, style and purpose — turning every meal into a moment guests remember.
