How CHEFIN works:

Clients make a booking on CHEFIN’s platform. They pay in full and the money is placed in a trust account,
The CHEFIN backend system evaluates the client’s requirements and matches them to your profile. If there’s a match, you receive a booking request via text & email,
You get to decide whether to accept the job or not. The more jobs you accept, the more jobs you get. It’s as simple as that,
Booking is allocated to your Chef Dashboard. Here, you can access all the details, fill the menu design wizard, and communicate with the client,
The client will approve your menu, and you’re ready to shop, prep, cook, serve, and clean,
When it’s all over, the client will submit a review and you upload all booking expenses. You get paid from the trust account, a safe and secure transaction for all involved.

Who we’re looking out for…

Top chefs who want more work. The ideal candidates for our platform are chefs working in top restaurants who are interested in additional work at competitive rates, with less stress than a busy commercial kitchen and a lot more praise!
Chefs with extensive experience. Suitable chefs will have excellent culinary skills and experience working in high-end restaurants, cooking a variety of a la carte, fine dining quality cuisine with first-class presentation skills.
Sociable personalities. We’re looking for reliable, professional, and well-presented individuals with strong interpersonal skills and friendly personalities. You’ll be attending client bookings in their homes, so you need to be sociable and have great communication skills.
Independent workers. Responsibilities will include managing bookings to meet food quality goals, contributing to menu design, and working within each booking’s cost goals.

What does it take to be a private chef with CHEFIN?

We provide a high-quality service to our clients, and we ask that you meet these requirements before applying to join our community:

Menu design. You can independently design your own menus & tailor them to meet dietary requirements,
Kitchen management. You can run a kitchen on your own & delegate work to staff if needed,
Clean & organised. We take pride in a clean, organised workspace and ask that you do too,
10+ yrs experience. We ask that you have a minimum of 10 years experience as a chef,
Self-directed. You have the ability to plan ingredients, submit orders, and prep lists,
Time management. Prompt delivery and service is essential,
Passion for food. You need to have a genuine passion and love for food & everything to do with cooking,
Social. Be prepared to talk to guests, answer questions, and provide an engaging experience.
